Well, if you have family members in the city you just moved to or have made friends quickly after moving in to your London Ontario homes, ask them if they can refer you to their family physician. If they have one, that is. Family physicians are reluctant to take on new patients sometimes, especially if they are busy, but will do so if the person doing the referral has been an outstanding or long time patient. While it's no guarantee you can get a physician this way, it never hurts to ask.
There seems to be a sudden rise in medical centres in Canada as of late. These centres are home to a wide range of physicians or autism Mississauga specialists who work in a variety of different medical fields all under the same roof. These centres are made up of doctors, labs, walk-in clinics and pharmacies. Which is great because you get everything you need. They might be busy because of everything they do but you can visit their general reception area to ask about whether or not new patients are being accepted. At the very least you can probably sign up to be on a waiting list.

One option that most people tend to turn to when trying to find a family physician is to go to a brand new practice with a new physician . New physicians that are starting out don't have that many patients because people want their family physician to be experienced. However, if you have just moved to Grand Harbour Toronto, you don't have the luxury of choosing a family physician who has been practicing for decades. You have to settle for what you can. Which might be a physician who is fresh out of medical school.
Try not to be too discouraged if you don't have a family physician. Just keep looking for one and you'll get a family physician eventually. Good luck!
